NOVA Math & Physics Tutoring Accessibility Statement

I am committed to making the NOVA Math and Physics Tutoring website accessible to all users, including those with disabilities. The site supports screen readers, keyboard navigation, and other assistive technologies. I continue to improve accessibility so students and parents can easily learn about my online and in-person tutoring services in Northern Virginia and beyond. What web accessibility means for a tutoring service

I believe in providing an inclusive learning environment where students with disabilities can participate in tutoring sessions with the same ease and enjoyment as other students. Web accessibility ensures that every parent and student can access information about my services, schedule sessions, and use online resources without barriers. For a tutoring service, it also means adapting teaching approaches, offering materials in accessible formats, and supporting the use of assistive technologies so that all students have equal opportunity to succeed in math and physics.

Accessibility adjustments for my tutoring service

I have adapted my tutoring service to align with recognized accessibility standards and guidelines, making it accessible at the AA level. My tutoring materials and resources are designed to work with assistive technologies so that all students have equal access to educational content. As part of this commitment, I have:

  • Used specialized tools to identify and fix potential accessibility barriers

  • Ensured content is presented in a clear and organized structure

  • Provided alternative formats for visual content when needed

  • Applied accessible color combinations and design elements

  • Reduced distracting or overwhelming page elements

  • Verified that multimedia resources meet accessibility requirements

Accessibility arrangements for my tutoring service

As my tutoring service is primarily online, students with accessibility needs can participate from the comfort of their own homes using familiar devices and assistive technologies. This makes lessons highly adaptable to individual requirements. For in-person sessions, I meet with students at public libraries in Falls Church and Arlington Virginia area, where ADA compliance ensures accessible parking, entrances, restrooms, and study spaces. These locations provide an inclusive environment so students with disabilities can receive tutoring support without barriers.

Requests, issues, and suggestions

If you encounter any accessibility issues with my tutoring service or if you require additional assistance, please contact me directly. I welcome feedback, questions, and suggestions so that I can continue improving the accessibility of NOVA Math and Physics Tutoring for every student.
